Osman Sayginer received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his M.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering. He is currently a PhD student at University of Trento, Italy and works in collaboration with IFN – CNR CSMFO Laboratory Trento, FBK Photonics Unit.
He has been involved in several research activities including mechanical characterization of materials, micro-fabrication, design and optimization of mechatronics systems. His interdisciplinary journey and personal curiosity took him to focus more on the design and fabrication of Multiphysics systems. Thus, he has started to focus on the development of an Optoacoustic sensor for Structural health monitoring systems in his PhD research.
Apart from his research work, he assists in teaching activities at the University of Trento and supervises visiting students at IFN – CNR CSMFO Laboratory Trento. Moreover, he is the founder of cOllab where he seeks for potential multidisciplinary research opportunities.
