Osman Sayginer is an interdisciplinary research scientist. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from mechanical engineering and mechatronics engineering respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. cum laude from University of Trento, Italy where he conducted his doctoral research in collaboration with National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Trento – Institute for Photonics and Nanotechnologies (IFN) & FBK Photonics Unit.
He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Biological Imaging – Technical University of Munich, Germany and Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging – Helmholtz Zentrum München.
He is experienced in prototyping, medical device development, CAD, FEA, modeling, simulation, design optimization, thin-films, hardware control, data acquisition, project management, scientific & research & teaching coordination.
